Heerlijke avond gehad, aan niets ontbrak het. Lekker eten, goede service, mooie gedekte tafel en natuurlijk heel fijn om gewoon thuis te blijven! Zeker een aanrader!

Het heeft even geduurd maar nadat ik de avond met Philip heb kunnen laten bezinken is hier dan toch mijn ervaring die ik graag deel in dit guestbook.
Er wordt op de kleinste details gelet, een perfect versierde tafel, de wensen van de individuele gasten, niets is Philip te gek. Een klein smaakbommetje gaf het startschot van een perfecte culinaire avond. Op de veranda in de avondbries was het heerlijk genieten van de soep van macadamia noten. De carpacio van eendenborst die volgde was subliem. Geen poespas maar een echte eerlijke carpacio. De gerookte blue marlin (wij waren enkelen van de gelukkigen die de delicatesse voorgeschoteld kregen) die daarna volgde was zo zacht dat deze smolt op de tong. Met heerlijke bijpassende wijnen was het feest compleet. Als hoofdgerecht gegrilde wahu (familie van de makreel).
Een stevige vis met veel smaak, gecompleteerd met diverse groenten van het eiland.
Als uitsmijter kwam er een trio van heerlijke zoete lekkernijen op tafel, gemaakt door de vrouw van Philip.
Een lust voor het oog en voor de smaakpapillen!!

Kortom, een bijzondere ervaring met een heel prettige en eerlijke kok. Een echte aanbeveling wanneer je echt iets anders wil.
Philip maakt de avond compleet en zorgt dat alle gasten aan hun trekken komen!
Drie sterren niveau!!

Hoe hoog is een overtreffende trap? Bij Philip kom je er nooit achter. Iedere keer ervaar je zo'n smaaksensatie dat je denkt dat dit nooit meer te overtreffen is....... en dan toch doet 'ie het de volgende keer "gewoon" weer! Petje af...... en bordje leeg! Bedankt Philip en tot de volgende keer!

What a perfect evening. The food couldn't have been better! Philip is a terrific cook. From the soup course to the dessert, the food was exceptional. We loved the intimacy of being in our own setting too!

We just returned from a week in Bonaire and Philip made our stay incredible. Eight of us rented a private home and it included two dinners with wine. His cooking was so fantastic that we hired him for two more nights. Our week would have been perfect if he was available every night so next time we'll book him in advance for the week! He served us fresh fish at every meal as that's what we requested. Wonderful soups, fresh vegetables, amazing sauces on the side for the fish, and a few nights of fantastic desserts from his wife, Souze. We did go out to dinner one night and it was a letdown compared to Philip's cooking at the house. His staff is wonderful too. We'll be back and Philip will be spending 7 nights with our crew! Thank you again for everything.

We have been vacationing on Bonaire for over ten years. We have our favorite restaurants but only recently discovered the experience of having some dinners catered at home.

We had Phllip over to cook two dinners while we were in Bonaire at Villa Laman this past December. Both nights were fairly big groups, close to 10 people.

Great care was taken to make an elegant presentation. The table was decorated to create a festive environment.

The food was creative and delicious. And Phillip was eager to accommodate food allergies and/or preferences. We had fish both nights. He was able to get tuna fresh off the boat. His soups were excellent. Everything was well prepared and very tasty.

We will definitely have Phillip cook for us on our next trip to Bonaire. It was a great addition to our vacation experience.

Wij hebben waarlijk genoten van het eten wat jullie uitgeserveert hebben. Wat een mooie smaken. De tuna rolls zijn een "keeper". En de wijn was fantastisch.

Chef Philip made my husband's birthday truly wonderful. We were visiting Bonaire to dive and celebrate his birthday and Chef Philip made beautiful dinners for us for three of the evenings we were there. It was the best food on the island! The Tuna and smoked Wahoo were amazing!

If you go to Bonaire call Philip, Wife & Team either for a particular exceptional occasion or, preferable, for many everyday exceptional occasions.

Beyond a complete, skillful and wonderful Chef, Phil is a very sympathetic, kind and pleasant person, able to take the big fish you eventually catch during the morning, and present a "cuisine masterpiece" in the evening.

But, if you don't fish (or weren't lucky at sea this morning), Phil knows where to buy the best catch of the day, as well as he is perfectly able to make superb meat, pasta, risotto, and more ...

International cuisine, very healthy approach, creative interpretations of local ingredients, as well as a personal touch in traditional recipes from Italy, French, Eastern cuisine and, above all, a very kind sense of adaptation for children, family and so on.

During our week in Bonaire, we had four wonderful meals prepared by Philip. The meals were delicious and varied, both Philip and his staff were attentive and incredibly friendly and the deserts prepared by his wife were fantastic.
If you ever come to this beautiful island, you must try to arrange a dinner by Philip! We know we'll be back.
